Best books to prepare for elitmus pH Test

Elitmus is one of the best competitive exam for fresh graduates to get a job in leading worlds MNC’s. It is a CAT level Exam so difficult to score more percentiles. In my last post I explained about Elitmus exam and its test pattern. In this post, I will share some of the best books to prepare for elitmus pH test.

Elitmus pH paper split in to three parts
  • Quantitative Aptitude
  • Logical Reasoning
  • Verbal Ability

Quantitative Aptitude
            Book Name: Quantitative Aptitude for CAT by Arun Sharma
This book is divided into two sections.
  • Arithmetical ability
  • Data Interpretation
Arithmetical ability covers Problems on Numbers and Ages, Simplification, Allegations, and Logarithms. Other topics discussed include Surds and Indices, Pipes and Cistern, Chain Rule, Boats and Streams, Simple and Compound Interests, Time and Work, Partnership, Problems on Trains, and Volume and Surface Area. This text also goes into Stocks and Shares, True Discount and Banker's Discount, Games of Skill, Races, Permutations and Combination, Series, Odd Man Out, Clocks, Heights and Distances, and Calendar. The Data Interpretation part covers Tabulation and various kinds of graphs like Bar, Pie and Line Graphs.

Logical Reasoning
Book Name: Logical Reasoning and Data Interpretation for CAT by Arun Sharma 
Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning is one of the important sections of Elitmus, any candidate with expertise in this section could easily answer all the questions. When Compared to Quantitative Aptitude and Verbal Ability, answering questions from Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning sections is easier.
It covers Logical Reasoning, Data Interpretation, Data Sufficiency, and Challenges in Data Interpretation

Verbal Ability
   Book Name: A Modern Approach to Verbal & Non-Verbal Reasoning by R.S. Aggarwal
This book divided into two sections:
  • Verbal Reasoning
  • Non-Verbal Reasoning
Verbal Reasoningsection is further divided into many chapters.
General Mental Ability, include Verification Of Truth Of The Statement, Assertion And Reason, Alpha Numeric Sequence Puzzle, Direction Sense Test, Series Completion, Inserting The Missing Character, Logical Sequence Of Words, and Logical Venn Diagrams

Non-Verbal Reasoning Section
Construction Of Squares And Triangles, Classification, Figure Formation & Analysis, Series, Completion Of Incomplete Pattern, Paper Folding, Analogy, Analytical Reasoning, Cubes And Dice, and Spotting Out The Embedded Figures.
